‘Donations not gifts’ – cheque handover at Wunsch Punsch customer event
Alexander Ochs hands over donation to ‘Kinderglück e.V.’
Nuremberg, December 2018 – Once again this year bayernhafen Christmas motto is ‘donations not gifts’. bayernhafen Nürnberg decided to support the local association ‘Kinderglück e.V.’ (Children’s Happiness Association). Managing Director Alexander Ochs handed over the symbolic cheque to one of the association’s presidents, Mrs. Esther Utenschil, during the ‘Wunsch Punsch’ social event held with customers at bayernhafen Nürnberg.
The association fulfils small wishes for children from Nuremberg. For example, it supports children from socially disadvantaged families or families for whom even a school trip for the little ones would constitute an intolerable financial hurdle. It cooperates directly with schools and the money is always allocated for a specific purpose. The money is used, for example, to support visits to museums, trips to cultural events, German language courses, and much more – all those things which are not essential for survival, but which contribute to the children’s education and cultural enrichment.
